Sole Family Provider Loss

My sister Lisa tragically lost her 44 years old husband Kevin to a heart attack over Thanksgiving Weekend. Kevin was the sole provider for his family of 5. Beside his wife Lisa, he leaves behind his two daughters Kelly (16) and Zoey (8) and his son Patrick (7). There were no warning signs. Everyone is in shock.

The backstory:  Kevin and Lisa met as teenagers working at McDonald's. They fell in love and have been together for 27 years. They have been married for 18 years. Lisa is a stay at home mom because Patrick, their youngest is disabled. Patrick has many doctors appointments and Lisa doesn't have a driver's license. Kevin besides being the sole breadwinner, he was also the only driver for his family. He provided the transportation for Patrick's appointments and would work however many hours he needed to in order to provide for his family. He had even saved for a long sought after family trip to Disney, which was to be the kids Christmas present this year. Proud of his daughters for doing so well in school, support to Lisa is caring for Patrick, Kevin was the backbone of his tightknit family.

As difficult as the loss of any loved one can be, this one adds the additional burdens of Patrick's medical needs, everyone's transportation needs, and total loss of income.
