Solars Medical Bills

Solar and mommy are asking for emergency help from our community. When I left Solar for a 3-week trip, he was healthy and completely his usual self. When we returned from our time away and finally saw him, he was completely bones, lethargic, depressed, and absolutely not himself whatsoever. We believe Solar was neglected while being “watched.” He received no love, care, or attention and didn’t eat or barely drink water for 10+ days. The entire time we were never made aware of or told anything about this until two days before we returned from our trip. When we got back, we rushed him to the hospital, where he was hospitalized for eight days, and we were told he had kidney damage, major dehydration, pancreatitis, and hypothermia. After eight days, we were able to take him home to continue recovery with us, where he had to take seven different medicines and IV fluids administered at home every day, plus a completely different diet for his kidneys.

We came back for a check-up yesterday because he became lethargic again and found out he has severe anemia because his kidneys are not producing the red blood cells he needs to carry oxygen through his body. They told us he needed to be put down right then and there. We took him home to say goodbye and decided to keep fighting. We now brought solar to a different hospital where he is in ICU and needs to be watched 24/7. He needs blood transfusions, and to undergo tons more procedures to bring health back to his kidneys and the rest of his body and find out what exactly happened to treat him.

To know Solar is to absolutely fall head over heels in love with this kid. Solar is only about to turn 6, and just a couple of weeks ago had all the energy in the world and was his usual self - this morning, he could barely walk. Sol wants to fight. I will do anything for him. I can’t imagine my life without him. We really need your help.

Latest Update:

We are beginning to figure out what's wrong with Solar. Unfortunately, the first hospital we went to did not have the capability or proper resources to know exactly what the issue was. We moved Solar to a new hospital with better possibilities to assist in giving Solar adequate treatment where they have a more hopeful outlook. The last hospital bill already added up to $10k. We expect this new bill to surpass the previous; only two days of hospitalization is $1,000 and we expect him to stay longer.
Any donations will significantly help us. We love and thank you so much!
