Solarsystem for primate rescue center in South Africa

International Primate Rescue is a rescue center for primates in South Africa. The founder Sue has dedicated her life to caring for former laboratory, zoo and pet monkeys.

With a lot of love and dedication, she looks after the well-being of the mostly very traumatized animals and offers them a safe and beautiful home.

IPR is located outside of Pretoria. There is no electricity supply, just a power generator, which is usually in repair rather than in use. Sue gives up comfort for herself. There are no luxury electronic devices such as televisions or similar. However, cooling the food for the animals and light for feedings in the early morning and in the evening hours is essential.

A solar system would be a huge improvement and relief for all helpers on site and would improve the quality of life of the animals. I would therefore like to ask for help for the selfless helpers <3
