Over the past year our team has been hard at work upgrading our car Cielo. A list of the major upgrades includes:
-New braking system
-New battery pack
-New in-hub motor (which is 40% more efficient than our old motors)
-New aero-shell paint
-Entirely rebuilt electrical system
-New wire harness
Along with many other minor upgrades. Over these last few weeks our team has found Cielo II to be by far our best
solar car ever and have been hard at work testing it consistently. We have, however, found ourselves strapped for cash and are looking for your financial support in obtaining the best finish possible at FSGP 2019. Your money would be used to:
-Reimburse members for hundreds of dollars of purchases made for the team
-Pay for rental U-Hauls to get our car to and from the test track
-Purchase new driver communications devices
-Purchase various items from Lowe's (paint brushes, tape, grommets, etc)
-Competition expenses
In order to be transparent in the use of GoFundMe donations, we will be using the following Google Sheet to publicly track the spending of your money:
