So I can stand up like you !!

The aim: To fundraise £24,000 so I can do something you do for free.
Most of you know my story by now but in case it has slipped your memory, here's a quick reminder:
I was diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy at 18 months old, a condition that causes progressive weakening of every voluntary muscle in the body. Until around the age of about 7/8 years I was able to walk around slowly using leg splints and a walking frame. From there on I have used a selection of different electric wheelchairs to get around. In the space of a few years I had 5 major surgeries to help me be in the position I am now.
We're fundraising to get this amazing hi-tech standing wheelchair. It provides one of the best standing positions possible in an electric chair on the market. It raises you high enough whilst in the sitting position to have an eye level conversation with someone who is 6foot tall.
---------------------
On Monday 9th in the middle of a dog walk my electric wheelchair suddenly stopped causing me to jolt forward and fly head-first onto the concrete. Eight hours later I was able to leave A&E after being treated with a cracked head and two sprained ankles.
The engineer came to look at my wheelchair the following morning. The control system was flashing up with three major faults to which all would need attending. Ultimately the cost of getting the wheelchair repaired, that I had depended on for a decade, would be considerably more than what the chair is financially worth. Furthermore even after all the repairs I'm not sure I could ever really trust the chair again. I can tell you now that there is nothing that makes your feel more hyperaware of your disability than when you are left with no way of getting around other than depending completely on another person.
So now I am trying as fast as I possibly can to raise enough funds to purchase a new electric wheelchair. A few thousand has already been generously donated but I need to reach about £24 thousand for my new chair.
If there is anything you would be able to do to help me reach my target quicker, I would be so very very grateful.
