My name is Sohan Shah and I am currently a Life Scout in Troop 127, aspiring to become an Eagle Scout. I am a senior at Oaks Christian High school, volunteer at Therapeutic Recreation in Conejo Valley, am on the Varsity Boys Tennis team, and am headed to Rice University in Houston. Since joining in 2019, being a part of this troop has meant participating in a number of leadership roles and attending many campouts and troop activities. I am grateful for all that I have learned in Scouting, and the friendships I’ve made along the way. My Eagle project will be the last component of my Scouting journey, and I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider supporting me.
The goal of my project is to turn the existing Gaga pit at the Agoura Bible Fellowship into a sandbox/play area for children. This involves refurbishing and painting the wooden exterior, digging out the interior, filling it up with sandbox sand, and installing some permanent toys with concrete bases. This project will take place in early February 2026.
The project will take place right next to the basketball court and the play structure at the Agoura Bible Fellowship church.
This is a project that has been specifically requested by members of the Agoura Bible Fellowship community, and will create an area where kids can come together and play, further strengthening our local community.
Monetary donations from troop families and our community are a fantastic way to support the financial side of the project. Any amount of support would be greatly appreciated and will go straight into the cost of materials and tools.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me, and I will respond as soon as possible.
Yours in Scouting,
Sohan Shah
