Softball Fund in Celebration of David Calkum

In Celebration of Life of the passing of David Calkum, on Nov. 30, 2022, I Shannon Calkum, his wife of 30 plus years would like to honor him and continue his passion to support our daughter CaLee Calkum with her love of Competitive Softball. As you may know this is an very expensive sport to continue out these 3 1/2 remaining years she still has in high school. He always had big dreams of her pushing towards her dream of a Collage ball scholarship.

David was SO very proud of his daughter. CaLee started playing ball around 6 years old, and she first started out playing baseball and bossing those boys around, showing them how the games played! We were blessed to have Pete, Re-Pete and She-Pe (aka: CaLee) in the family! CaLee went on to play both baseball and softball at the same time for a few years and just before she turned 12, switched her focus to all softball. David was Assistant Coach for several years, and in these last 2 years for various reasons wasn’t able to coach, but just recently he saw an opportunity with CaLee’s new team. He was thrilled and asked me if I were proud of him. Yes David, I am SO very proud for all you have done for our daughter, and grateful for the skills and passion you have passed onto her.
