My name is Sofia Gonzalez, a 24-year-old dancer, choreographer, and music artist based in New York City. Raised in Miami, I trained classically in dance throughout my life, ultimately earning my BFA in Dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. While continuing to dance and choreograph, I discovered my passion for singing, songwriting, and performing my own music, and I’ve been working tirelessly to merge these two worlds.

I’m currently producing a music video for my song "Test It On Me," which will feature an original dance piece that I’ve choreographed. The video will showcase me and seven incredible dancers who have worked really hard to bring this vision to life. As a fellow dancer, I know how often this art form goes unrecognized, and I refuse to let these performers go unpaid.

The funds will be used to cover essential production expenses, including compensation for the dancers, rehearsal space, theater rental for the shoot, cinematography, editing, wardrobe, and people helping behind the scenes.

In addition to choreographing and directing this project, I’ve been working over 50 hours a week to support my creativity, while also recording my album, which will feature "Test It On Me." I’ve been financing this entire endeavor out of pocket, but your support can help make this vision a reality. Every contribution, no matter the size, will make a profound difference.
