Hello and welcome to my new and sudden "adventure" into having Lymphoma!

I was recently diagnosed with Diffused B-cell Lymphoma Non-Hodgkin, and wow, was that a surprise!

What started as an assumed infection in my right breast turned into an over 2-month process to find out that it is actually blood cancer.

During this time, I will have to undergo at least 18 weeks of chemotherapy, change my diet and lifestyle, and will be out of work for a bit. While my husband, Tony, is an amazing and supportive man, he will be the only one able to work (he's an elementary music teacher) and support us financially. We have insurance, wonderful family and friends, and an altogether positive attitude. However, good vibes don't pay for chemo, and the estimated cost right now is $6,000. 

Tony and I try to prepare for medical emergencies; we could not have foreseen this. However, we don't want to put a significant burden on anyone to help us out, so I decided to create this gofundme.

On top of treatment costs, there may be additional expenses such as groceries, household help, transportation, etc., that are harder to estimate.

Any help is appreciated, and we're so grateful for everyone in our lives!

If you are willing and able to send a little something our way, that would be amazing, but we absolutely do not want anyone putting themselves in financial harm to help us. And we'd prefer no large amounts.

There are ways to contribute to our lives other than just donating toward this medical expense.
