My daughter was diagnosed with brain tumor in 2019: anaplastic PXA. She had 4 surgeries to remove the tumor. She completed radiation, and is now taking daily immune-chemo therapy for the next year. She suffered two strokes affecting her right side, and had one year home physical therapy to regain her strength. She also had speech therapy as she had trouble finding words. On a positive note: she continues fighting and never really missed any school aside from few days “here and there” when she was having chemo side-effects. She finished up her second year of high school with good grades. She is learning how to drive. She is very compliant with her medical treatments, and wants to be Psychiatrist. She is an amazing kid, and loves to help others. She is very popular among her friends and teachers. She will need complex medical care for the rest of her life : frequent MRI's , doctor's visits , and surgeries.
Any small donation will help us with her copays, and bills. Thank you so much. God bless .
