Hello, thank you for taking the time to read our page. In March, Sofi was coming to the US to stay with Kole, my son and her boyfriend of 1.5 years. Two weeks before she came she had a wisdom tooth removed and a couple days later had excruciating abdominal pain causing her to go to the ER multiple times. Her final diagnosis was an ulcer due to the medication she took for her tooth removal. She received a clean bill of health from the specialist to travel to the US. Two weeks into her visit she was in excruciating abdominal pain again ending up in the ER where she was diagnosed with gall stones lodged in the walls and an inflamed pancreas. The pancreas now became the emergency needing immediate care. She has been in the hospital since 3/18/22. Before traveling she purchased medical insurance to cover her time in the US. But the insurance company is saying that this is a pre existing condition after being misdiagnosed. Sofi is in good spirits as she waits for her condition to improve for the doctors to clear her to have her gallbladder removed. We do not know what this is going to cost. We are asking for help in any amount to help with the cost and recovery. We greatly appreciate it. Kelly, Kole and Sofi
