In March 2026, I’ll be running the Tokyo Marathon - not just for the miles, but for meaning.
I’m fundraising for the Girls Gotta Run Foundation (GGRF), a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that invests in girls’ education, health, and leadership through running programs in Ethiopia. GGRF empowers girls and their communities to create their own futures and that’s a finish line worth chasing.
Running has given me strength, joy, and community. As Board Chair for Girls on the Run Chicago, I’ve seen firsthand how access, mentorship, and movement can change lives. The start line may be in Tokyo, but the impact stretches across continents.
Your gift fuels:
✨ Scholarships that keep girls in school
♀️ Running programs that build confidence and community
Life-skills training that helps families thrive
My goal is to raise $6,000 by race day. Every donation, no matter the size, helps a girl run toward her dreams.
Thank you for helping me make every mile matter.
About the Organization:
The Girls Gotta Run Foundation (GGRF) is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 20-8623580) that supports girls’ education and empowerment programs in Ethiopia. All funds raised through this campaign will be donated directly to GGRF via their official charity fundraising process for the Tokyo Marathon 2026 charity team. I will not personally handle or transfer any funds internationally. Donations will go through GoFundMe’s verified payment system and then to GGRF in the United States.
