We are looking to fundraise money to help the Soderdahl family with medical expenses, wages lost from missing work, and everyday expenses that come up during this tough time.
In November, Rachel experienced some inexplicable abdominal pain and went to the doctor to get it checked out. Within a week, she had a biopsy and was told that she had stage 4 breast cancer that has travelled to her liver. Rachel has HER2-positive mestastic breast cancer which means that her cancer is not related to hormones. Her doctors at GB Oncology told her that she will need chemotherapy and molecular treatments. Her treatment (Taxotere/Herceptin/Perjeta) will be continued once every 3 weeks for a year.
