We are reaching out for help for Larry and Teresa Soderberg who are both going through some very challenging health issues -- Larry: Colorectal Cancer and Teresa: Hip and Wrist Surgery.

On Friday, May 31st, life took a sharp turn for both Larry and Teresa Soderberg.

Larry went in for a colonoscopy and a large tumor was discovered. He has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Colorectal cancer which has spread to his liver. His wife, Teresa fell on her way back to see Larry in recovery and that fall resulted in a broken wrist and hip. They were both transported by ambulance to Regions Hospital in St. Paul that afternoon. While Larry was released from the hospital that evening, Teresa remained in the hospital awaiting surgery. She had surgery on Saturday, June 1, and has a long road of recovery ahead of her. She remains hospitalized. Larry will begin his first chemo treatment on Monday, June 17 (which is his birthday). Larry has always had an up-beat attitude and will crack a joke or two even in the most difficult of times ... this being the hardest of them all. It is still unclear as to how long Teresa will remain hospitalized, but her treatment right now is 4 weeks non-weight bearing.

Their strength and perseverance will get them both through this, and we are hopeful that the generosity of family, friends, and even those who do not know them personally, will feel it in their hearts to help support them by donating whatever you can. All donations will be used to help with medical bills and cover healthcare costs.
