Help Cover Sock’s Emergency Vet Bills on NYE
Donation protected

Socrates (Sock), the cat, is a 4-year-old British tabby whom I’ve raised as a kitten. He loves to make his voice heard, get his belly rubbed, chase strings and birds and occasionally swallow things he shouldn’t. This recently led to an emergency vet visit on New Year’s Eve with astronomical costs that I am struggling to cover.
What’s most important is that he is okay, first and foremost. Although I have been worried sick leading up to his illness and ever since, I’m grateful he’s in very capable hands at the RVC in London and expected to have a full recovery. However, their care does not come cheap.
Anyone who knows us will tell you how inseparable we are and that, without him, there’s no me. 100% of donations will go towards covering the costs of Sock’s vet bills (breakdown below). If you can, please contribute any amount toward our goal so we can start the new year a little better than we left it.
Cost breakdown:
Total 4,055.84
308.89 Initial consult at our registered Vet’s
2500 Deposit upon admittance to Queen Mother Hospital for Animals
1,246.95 Discharge fees
Sincerely,
The Chairman of The Socratic Paws Department
