We are reaching out to the hearts and kindness of the community on behalf of a true warrior, Rose, a hard-working and compassionate social worker who has dedicated her life to helping others. At 48, Rose is not just a devoted professional; she is also a loving single mom to a beautiful 5-year-old daughter. Known for her selflessness, Rose has always been the one offering a helping hand, putting others before herself. Today, it's Rose who needs our support.

Rose's journey hasn't been easy. For the past several years, she has faced a series of complex medical challenges that have not only impacted her health but have also created significant financial hardship. Despite surviving breast cancer three years ago, requiring time off work for treatment and recovery, Rose returned to her calling in social work with unwavering dedication. Recently, after undergoing knee surgery and enduring the recovery process, Rose found herself in a familiar and daunting position—diagnosed with a new breast cancer, preparing for another round of surgery, treatment, and the inevitable recovery period, all while caring for her young daughter.

The financial strain of being on state disability, coupled with medical expenses and the responsibility of single parenthood, has left Rose in a precarious position with little time to prepare. Yet, through it all, her spirit remains unbroken. Rose has never been one to ask for help, always finding a way to rise above and continue her mission of service to others. But now, as she faces this new challenge, Rose needs us.

Our goal is to raise $8,000 to help alleviate the financial burden on Rose, ensuring she can focus on her recovery and continue to be the amazing mother and social worker our community so greatly values. This fund will help cover travel costs for out-of-area medical expenses, living costs during her time off work, and any additional support Rose and her daughter may need during this difficult time.
