Hey! My name is Ciarán Hemeryck and I'm an actor and writer from Dublin. I have been pursuing film-making since 2018 and have loved every minute of my journey so far. I wrote this short film as this topic means a lot to me personally. It would also be a tremendous help in pushing my career to the next level.

'SOCIAL' is a short film centered around mental health. The film follows a character who has been in isolation for many months, but is now trying to reach out and reconnect with the people closest to him. The reason for this film is to encourage people to check in on their loved ones, no matter how they appear on the outside. We all need to be more aware of the silent struggles others might be facing.

Directing this short film is Sam O'Neill, who is a multi-award winning director with his feature film 'No More Blue Tomorrows' soon to be released. I'm delighted to have Sam on board, whose vision and expertise will undoubtedly elevate our project to new heights.
