Social Fund for Rhenus Valencia Employees

Dear Rhenus teams worlwide,

We - the management of Rhenus Logistics in Spain - decided to reach out to all of you and share an update on the recent flooding that has heavily impacted Valencia and its surrounding areas:

On October 29th, Valencia suffered the worst flooding disaster in Spain’s recent history, having taken more than 200 human lives while rescue missions are undergoing. Thankfully, all our employees in the area are safe, but many have experienced property damage and personal loss.

As Rhenus Spain and across all Business Units we are trying to support our colleagues wherever possible. To support further, we are organizing a global GoFundMe campaign, providing a way for anyone who wishes to contribute to support the affected colleagues in the region. The funds will be raised exclusively to those employees affected by the floods, to support them recover any property damage or personal loss.

This is entirely voluntary, with no expectation or obligation to participate. We simply want to make this available for those who feel a desire to extend their support to our colleagues and friends in Valencia.
