Born out of my own struggles with addiction and balancing career with recovery I launched SEAM: Sober Executives in Advertising, Media & Marketing in March of 2017.
Since the launch the response has been staggering.
In the Advertising industry alone over 150 executives have joined. AdAge, the Advertising industry's top trade publication interviewed me about the effort:
Ad Exec Creating a Sober Support Network
Daily I receive messages from executives in industries like Finance, Law Enforcement & Higher Education that inquire about networks for their industries.
In response I am forming SoberExecs.org, a non-profit with the goal of creating a global network of sober professionals and supporting efforts that empower the treatment and care of those who suffer from the disease of addiction.
I need help covering the cost of forming a 501(c)3 - paying the application fees, hiring a lawyer and accountant to set up the pipes to make this a reality.
