Hi everyone,
This October, I’ve decided to take on Sober October. It’s not going to be easy, but I wanted to turn this challenge into something more meaningful—something that could help brighten the lives of two people who truly deserve it. That’s why I’m fundraising for Lesley and Colin.
For the past three years, Lesley has been facing cancer with incredible strength and courage. She’s now under palliative care, and everyday life has become very difficult. Walking is a struggle, and while she has a wheelchair, she relies on Colin to push her everywhere. What they’re hoping for is an electric wheelchair—something that would give Lesley a bit of her independence back, and the freedom to go where she wants, when she wants.
Colin has been doing everything he can to support her, but with little outside help, the weight of it all falls on his shoulders. Together, we can ease that burden and give them both some comfort during this challenging time.
By donating, you’re not only helping me stick to my Sober October challenge—you’re also giving Lesley and Colin something invaluable: independence, dignity, and moments of ease in the middle of so much difficulty. It’s a way to show them they’re surrounded by care and kindness.
Thank you so much for any contribution, big or small. Together, we can give them a little light during a really difficult time.
