Sober Housing for my Dad

Hello everyone, 

I am trying to help out my dad, Richard Schram. He is about to graduate from a treatment center, and move into Sober Housing.

My Dad has been in and out of hospitals over the past few years, due to various alcohol related health concerns. He has decided to stop drinking, and was accepted to a treatment center that would help him. He is doing well and is graduating soon. The next step for him is to get into Sober Housing to help him continue on his path to sobriety.

The money raised will help him pay first month's rent and security deposit for a sober house he has found close to his work and his primary doctor. There, he will be in a program to help him continue on his path to sobriety. This includes mandatory group meetings three times a week, a Bible study meeting once every week, and church every Sunday. I believe that this program is his next best step forward.

This cause is important to me because I've been witnessing my dad's declining health over the last few years, and I have been very worried about him. My dad raised me and my brother almost single-handedly for our entire childhood, and provided us with everything we could need or want. I want to do everything I can for my dad to help him get better, so I'm trying to help him in any way I can.

My Dad and I greatly appreciate any help that any of you can provide. Please keep him in your thoughts and your prayers, as he works to improve his health. Thank you all for your support.
