Soaring to Independence!

Our SSN students at Mountain Vista High School each have unique qualities and abilities. Our students range in grades from 9th to 12th grade. The focus of our classroom is teaching sustainable life skills to each student.  Our students need the ability to access technology in order to be able to achieve sustainable post graduation goals.  Our students use computers on a daily basis to access their curriculum, email pen-pals, complete resumes, work on their math tasks and to work on their keyboarding skills.

We also have a Peer Intern class, this class is made up of general education students that take Peer Intern as an elective. Our Peer Interns work with our SSN students individually to assist with social, academic, and functional skills.

Mountain Vista High School is a community that greatly supports our community of students with special needs. Our community supports our students through Unified sports, Peer Intern, and volunteering at events for our SSN program.

We would like to raise enough money to purchase 20 chromebooks for our classroom.  The chromebooks that we would like to purcahse through are school are $360 each.

Thank you for your support!
