Soaring Dreams Moving Fund

Hello! My name is Vicki and I'm the CEO of Soaring Dreams, Inc a non-profit resale shop where I provide job training for adults with special needs. I provide an understanding, adaptive atmoshphere where these individuals aquire skills that assist them in becoming productive members in the community. At Soaring Dreams we focus on our "abilities" instead of our "disabilities".

My volunteer crew members assist with the daily operations of the store: processing donations, stocking, cleaning, interracting with customers and running the register. We also house micro businesses within the resale shop. We have learned to design and create custom shirts, hats, mugs and coasters. We also have a line of dog items which include natural dog treats and hand tied dog toys. We channel our creativity into one of a kind wreaths and unique home decor items. In addition, we have learned the art of leather crafting allowing us to produce custom belts, wallets and key chains along with collars and leashes for our furry friends.

We have an abundance of support from the community who donate incredible, high quality items for us to sell in the store. So much in fact, that we need a bigger building! An amazing opportunity has presented itself and we need your help!

We need funds to cover prep and remodeling of the new location as well as the moving expenses required to expedite the move quickly and efficiently. We need to purchase a custom store front sign comporable with the surrounding businesses and funds to cover operation expenses during the transition.

Soaring Dreams has come a long way since it's inception in 2018. The founders, Laura McDonald and Julie McCoy had a vision that they made into a reality and provided a much need service to our adult children with special needs. I want to continue our

vision and "Soar" to heights they never imagined and I'll be able to accomplish that with your contribution! Please help with the expantion of this organization and share a sense of pride in the accomplishments of these amazing individuals.
