I am proud to announce, in addition to providing support and funding to local Human Service organizations, GO-GETR Communities- 501c(3) nonprofit organization, has a new subsidiary called, SOAP House- Supporting Others Along Paths.
SOAP House is 6-12 month program designed to provide independent individuals a place to reside during transitional, economic or personal struggles. All participants must maintain a job, complete a milestone plan, be drug & alcohol free, be in sound mental health, contribute to utilities, their personal savings, and have a SOAP House sponsor to qualify for the program. Residents are referred via friends, family, church and local wait-listed transitional homes. So far SOAP House has opened it's door to several individuals since our Summer 2013 opening.
SOAP House is a small blessing with a big vision, so your support is critical in helping us meet our mission. We impact the lives of individuals within the program through mentorship and assistance with basic needs such as food, toiletries, transportation, clothing, and future funding towards educational or permanent housing goals.
