On Monday 30th June, the staff at Long Marton School will take part in our take on the the infamous 'ice bucket challenge' all in aid of THE ANKOMA DREAM. Support staff, all teachers and even Mrs. Bardgett are all ready and raring to go.

As a school we are doing this to support the incredible work of The Ankoma Dream which is a charity initiative bringing children from Ankoma, Ghana, to the UK for an educational and cultural exchange. At Long Marton we are lucky enough to be hosting the pictured Dreamers on Friday 4th July 2025 and we cannot wait!

The money raised goes towards supporting this trip and trips in the future, advancing the education of pupils in both Ankoma and at Long Marton by providing opportunities for cultural exchange and joint learning activities. We hope that this will facilitate long lasting connections, inspiring a sense of shared learning, understanding and a stronger awareness of charity and global citizenship in our children.
