Hi, my name is Aleksandra, I am a single mother of three children, including two disabled.A few years ago we came out of domestic violence. The older son has Autism with Asperger's Syndrome, the younger one has contracture of the lower muscles, intertwined tendons which causes walking on the toes and deformation of the feet. After one treatment, thanks to hard work, private rehabilitation, the son wears forward shoes and sleeps in special orthoses. We were without a wheelchair for 3 years.Unfortunately, his condition worsens, the muscles get used to orthoses, contracted, which means that the son cannot stand otherwise than on the tips of his toes, which causes deformation of the feet. Doctors at Manchester Children's Hospital say they've done everything and offer a wheelchair. Like every mother, I was looking for help, a different treatment. Doctors from the private Victoria clinic came to the rescue. After much research, consultation with many specialists, there is a proposal to administer acids that relax the muscles and stretch them to the right position.Performing the procedure that will allow the stitch to release the contractures. Unfortunately, the treatment is beyond my options. Doctors estimated the cost of a year of treatment, surgery, rehabilitation, acid injections and all the necessary rehabilitation and walking aids at £ 10,000-11,000.Despite the fact that I work, I catch all the additional work, for me it is a goal that will not be achieved by the end of December. I did not sit and wait for a miracle, I worked and put away 6,000.Unfortunately, we are short of over 4,000 and we have less and less time, so I have to ask for help.
