Hello, my name is Natalie, and I am a rising senior at Howard University, proudly pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture. I am currently facing a significant financial barrier that is preventing me from continuing my studies. There is a hold on my student account totaling nearly $10,000, which must be cleared in order for me to register for classes and return to campus. Unfortunately, my mother, who has supported me throughout this journey, is unable to cover this cost out of pocket, despite the university’s urgent demand for payment.
This situation is especially disheartening as I am so close to completing my degree—just one step away from becoming a college graduate. As a first-generation college student, earning this degree means more than just a personal milestone; it represents the dreams, sacrifices, and hopes of my entire family. We have worked tirelessly to get this far, and it would mean the world to us to see it through.
I understand that times are financially difficult for many right now, but if you are in a position to help, your support—no matter the amount—would make a tremendous difference. Your generosity would not only help me return to Howard University but also ensure that I can finish what I started and take the next steps toward becoming a licensed architect. Thank you so much for considering a donation and for supporting my educational journey.
