In Memory of Carrie

Carrie left this earth on April 23, 2018 at the age of 47.  Carrie worked for DHS Child Welfare for over two decades in various capacities.  More importantly, she was mom to eleven year old Dakotah.  Carrie was funny, genuine, caring, loving and kind.  She was the first to give praise to others, but hated receiving attention . Carrie was accepting of everyone and passionate about the things and people she loved.  She was a force to be reckoned with, yet fragile and vulnerable.  Carrie had a way of making you feel important, when in reality SHE was the special one.  She was gracious, generous, loyal and so very brave.  No one will ever fully know the magnitude of the burden she was carrying, but she is finally at peace.  Anyone who knew Carrie knew how much she loved Dakotah and how incredibly proud of him she was.  Please consider donating in Carrie's honor to Dakotah.
