Losing Todd was something none of us were prepared to live with, but now have to. On Wednesday, May 24th at around 12:15pm he was taken from us. Michael Todd Fielders was out enjoying the beautiful weather riding his motorcycle when a woman failed to yield coming out of a parking lot and pulled out directly in front of him. Her lack of obeying traffic laws cost Todd his life at 47 years old. Instead of focusing on the sad, I want to take time to appreciate the happy. Todd brought too much light into the world to dare be remembered in a sad way. Even though he is gone he will forever be with us in spirit. Todd touched so many lives and that's who he will live on through. A son, a brother, an uncle, a cousin, a best friend, a huge animal lover and an elephant collector who loved The Grateful Dead...this is who he was, not some tragic accident. Dealing with loss seems impossible at times emotionally and financially. We are asking for help to alleviate some financial stress off his mother, Vicki Fuller. So that we may mourn his loss, as well as take time to celebrate all the memories he gave us. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 3rd at 4:20 pm at Farmers Country Club in Benton Harbor, MI. Please join us in honoring the wonderful spirit of Michael Todd Fielders.
