As much as it pains me to write this, I know that the Laureano family could really use your help. Unfortunately, Katie's time here on Earth has been cut far too short. Heart-broken doesn't even begin to explain how her family is feeling right now.
For those of us who were lucky enough to know Katie, we know how big her heart was; she loved with all that she had. Katie had the ability to light up a room, even as a little girl. She was so many things to so many people: a daughter, a sister, a niece, a cousin, a friend, a lover, a fighter. God, is she going to be missed.
As her family makes the funeral arrangements, I ask that you please donate whatever you can to help them out; every little bit counts. Whatever's left over will go towards some sort of memorial for Katie.
On behalf of the Laureanos, thank you for your continued support, kind words, and prayers during this extremely difficult time. I am confident that Katie has heard every prayer and word that has been said and will now be able to rest peacefully, watching over all of those she knew and loved.
