Help Save Snowy After a Coyote Attack
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out on behalf of Julie Tseng and family:
Snowy and Coco were attacked by a coyote. Snowy miraculously survived but suffered serious injuries that require urgent surgery. Sadly, Coco did not survive her injuries. The coyotes got into our 8 foot fenced yard where they both played and grew up in their whole lives. This was very unexpected occurrence in Cerritos.
Our snowy bell has miraculously survived the attack and was left with :
-Multiple rib fracture
+20 deep puncture bite wounds from neck down to her legs
-Fracture to her scapula/ neck arms and legs
-liver and lung injuries from bites and fracture wounds
We believe there is a reason why Snowy survived this attack this is why we don't want to put her down. She survived many tragedies with our family and she is meant to continue to live out her life with us and her daughter Rue Rue for the remainder of her life.
Currently Snowy's prognosis from the veterinary hospital...
"THE THORAX MUST BE EVALUATED FOR at least TWO DAYS SO THAT A PNEUMOTHORAX DOES NOT FORM DUE TO trauma
fracture infraglenoidea scapular, and we needing bandage for treatment, has 3 broker Ribs that needs to be stabilized , has a union vertebrae cervical 6,7 and thoracic 1 that can in the future cause loss of mobility
The estimated cost for surgery, medication, and follow-up care is $20k. We’re doing everything we can, but we can’t do it alone. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Snowy’s medical expenses.
Snowy is more than just a pet— she is family, a best friend, and a source of unconditional love. We’re heartbroken but hopeful that with your kindness, we can bring her home safe and healthy.
Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Every bit of support means the world to us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
