Hello!

For those of you who don't know us personally, we are Olivia, Alex and Momma, a little family of 3 ❤️.

We got engaged in Mauritius in January 2022 and whilst we were, Cyclone Batsirai occurred which is when we met Momma, a beach stray who completely stole our hearts ❤️

As beautiful as the island of Mauritius is, unfortunately, due to cultural differences, the way some of the population of the island treat their dogs is not so beautiful which we quickly became aware of.

During the Cyclone, litters of puppies were abandoned in boxes on the beaches as overbreeding and lack of sterilisation is a major problem there and dogs are culled in inhumane ways for simply needing help.

When we met Momma, she had cancer, hernia's and was pregnant, thrown out of a home most likely due to these factors and just wanted love and care.

After a lot of searching, we finally got in touch with Lisa at '4 Paws Rescue and Relocation International' which is a Non-profit Community Interest Company, who supported us and organised care, treatment and travel to the UK for Momma. She was looked after by Lorena and her team at 'All lives matter animal sanctuary' in Mauritius for 5 weeks before flying to us and it is such an incredible organisation.

The work Lisa does is absolutely amazing but she is inundated with dogs needing help and therefore needs more money!

Fortunately, organisations ran by amazing souls such as 4 Paws and All lives matter exist and do all they can to care for the dogs on the island and are making every attempt in their power to change the culture of Mauritius for the sake of the dogs.

We have decided to climb Snowdon (which we have never done before) in attempt to raise as much money as we can for Lisa's organisation.

100% of the money raised will be going straight to 4 Paws and will support in the finding, rescuing, feeding, care, shelter and treatment of the dogs of Mauritius.

We will be climbing Snowdon on Thursday 20th March 2025 (Olivia's birthday) and will post updates of this!

Any amount you can spare, we will be eternally grateful for as this is a cause extremely close to our hearts.

To look at our little girl now, it's impossible to imagine that without Lisa and All lives matter animal sanctuary, she would not have had the opportunity to be loved, cared for and grow into the most loving, hilarious, beautiful girl with the biggest personality we have ever known.
