Climbing Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) to Support Claire’s Number One

Hello Everyone,

Many of you will know Claire, who runs the Number One Shop on Electric Avenue in Harrogate. For years, her shop has been more than just a convenience store ,it’s been a friendly and reliable part of the community, where regular customers are welcomed with a smile and neighbours can always count on her.

At the moment, Claire is facing a particularly difficult period. With a Tesco under construction nearby and a temporary road closure directly outside her shop, her daily trade has dropped significantly. Despite her hard work and commitment, covering the shop’s running costs and bills has become a real challenge.

To show our support, on 20th September my friend (Klaudia) and I will be taking on the challenge of hiking Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) , the highest mountain in Wales. We want to use this opportunity to help raise funds for Claire, giving her a much-needed boost until the road reopens and her trade can recover.

Every donation, big or small will go directly towards helping Claire keep the shop open during this tough period. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing this fundraiser would be a huge help in spreading the word.
