Snow Cone vendor robbed and beaten for $80!

This is sad. This is horrible.
On July 9th at around 3 pm, Mr. Bernardino was at the corner of 36th street and 2nd in Los Angeles, selling Snow Cones. Unfortunately a suspect approached him and demanded money. Working all day and hard for his money, he refused.
The suspect beat and robbed him of his $80 that he worked hard for. Mr. Bernardino sustained injuries to his head and mouth area and needed to be transported to the Hospital. Mr. Bernardino lost his front tooth and sustained minor head injuries.
Badge of Heart, a non profit started by an LAPD Officer is raising money to help Mr. Bernardino with his medical bills. Also bills that he cannot pay due to lost earnings. Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
