One week ago, Snoopy’s life finally changed.

At 9 years old, he was rescued from a home where he had been physically abused — a place where he wasn’t safe and didn’t know what love was supposed to feel like. Just days ago, my family and I adopted him from Homeward Pet Adoption in Woodinville, WA and brought him into a home where he would finally be safe, cared for, and loved.

And somehow… he trusted us right away.

Despite everything he’s been through, Snoopy is gentle, loving, and just wants to be close. He looks at us like he’s been waiting his whole life for this.

But just as his new life began, we got devastating news.

Snoopy has B2 mitral valve disease, a serious heart condition that will continue to worsen. Without treatment, the time we have with him could be heartbreakingly short.

After everything he survived… he might not even get the chance to truly live.

But there is hope.

There’s a procedure called TEER (Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair) that could give Snoopy something he’s never had before — time. Time to feel safe. Time to be loved. Time to just be a dog.

If we can move forward with surgery at Olympic Veterinary Cardiology, Snoopy could go from having months… to having years. Years filled with love, comfort, and the life he deserved all along.

We’re not ready to lose him when we just found him.

He’s not ready to leave when he’s only just been saved.

The cost of this surgery and his care is more than we can afford on our own, and we’re asking for help.
