Hello, my name is Mathew. For the last year I have been trying to save money for my little dogs operation. He needs to have a mitral valve repair operation on his heart, as he is going into heart failure. The RVC in the UK is one of the two only places in the world that carry out this surgery. The other place is in Japan. The price of this operation is £23,500. Snoop is currently on the waiting list to undergo his treatment with the RVC, but he keeps relapsing (breathing uncontrollably fast, fainting and generally being really poorly). So when he relapses, I have to take him to ‘The Ralph’ veterinary hospital in Marlow Buckinghamshire, where they specialise in heart failure. These visits to ‘The Ralph’ cost between £1,000 - £2,000 pounds. So the visits have set me back in being able to pay for his operation. I am working two jobs to try and give my dog one final chance of life, he is on his very last stages of life and we are running out of time. Any contributions, I would be forever grateful for and would be used to pay for his surgery bill with the RVC and vet bills at the Ralph.
