Snohomish Youth Soccer Club Field Vandalism
Tax deductible
Please join me, a community member and club parent, in supporting our local non-profit club in the repair of their soccer fields.
On Saturday, Feb 23rd - around 9:00-10:00pm, vandals broke in to Stocker Fields and caused extensive damage to the fields for Snohomish Youth Soccer Club.
The vandals dug up and removed several of the hundreds of protective barriers around the fields that were anchored in concrete.
In minutes, the vandals left the club, that serves children of all ages, with weeks or even months of work to make it playable again. The swirling tracks, some six inches deep, will need to be excavated before most of it will be able to put it all back together.
Witnesses say there were two vehicles involved. One was a large truck that was either blue & white or purple & white.
The decorated club, where players go on to college and even pro soccer, is offering a $1,000 reward for tips to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest of the person(s) responsible for this. Contact Deputy Celestine with Snohomish Police at [phone redacted] if you have any information. Callers can remain anonymous.
