Hello friends and family of Anika MacDonald.  Anyone who knows Anni knows she is the most fun-loving, caring, beautiful woman.  She is also the most amazing wife to her husband Luke and the wonderful mother of Noah, Allie and Max.  Anika, roughly 6 weeks ago started having horrible back pain.  After an MRI showed nothing significant and the pain continued to get worse she sought out medical help again.  Labs were ordered to check her blood counts.  Since receiving the results, the MacDonald's lives have been turned upside down.  Anika was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) on March 18th.  She will have her port put in at the beginning of this next week and treatment will start immediately.  She is looking at at least 30 days at the Cancer Institute to start and an extremely long and tedious road ahead.  While the MacDonald's do have health insurance, they will still encounter medical debt and many expenses contributing to Anni's journey.  I am trying to help ease some of the anxiety and worry that their family will encounter.   Any kind of help would be very much appreciated by Anni and her family.  With our help, love and prayers we can help take some of the burden off of the MacDonald family.
