About three days ago, my best friend Nate was coming over to pick me up to go to a high school volleyball game. Nate texted me and told me he was outside so I walked out the front door and started walking to my front gate then found my brother Caleb laying on the ground in the gravel. I asked him Caleb what are you doing? Are you OK? He said I need help. I then ran to him, held him by his head and said what the fuck is going on he said I love you, jorge then started to ball his eyes out. He then stopped breathing became unresponsive for about five minutes, then would start breathing again then stop breathing again my best friend Nate then pulled into my house and took the phone for me which had 911 on the line the ambulance arrived, took him to the hospital and he’s been there for about four days now he has fluid built-up in his spine and in his brain and if it doesn’t get treated properly. he will be disabled for the rest of his life or there’s a chance he made gain his wings and meet Jesus. I’m 16 years old. My mom had to quit her job so she can stay by his side every day in the hospital, my grandparents took time off work to take care of me and my little sister. They originally live in Las Vegas but they’re down here to be by my mother side and us kids I’m 16 years old and try my best to stay strong for my family. I’m terrified of what might happen. I’m keeping my faith as high as possible in Jesus there’s thousands of people praying for Caleb but I’m afraid I’m gonna lose my best friend. We’re all trying our best and he’s fighting for us, but financially, we’re not doing OK. Any blessing helps whether it’s financial or just your prayers.
