Help the Norsemen go to Nationals in Las Vegas!!

Hello Friends

My name is Steve Engbrecht. My athletes call me Coach Steve or sometimes they call me Yoda(cuz I'm old and know stuff, lol). I am the coach for the Norsemen Barbell Club. We are based in Devils Lake, ND. Its a town of about 7,000 people in the central part of the state.

The Norsemen Barbell Club does not charge a fee for athletes that want to participate in Olympic Weightlifting. The coaches are not paid for their time and the athlete is not charged a membership at anytime. All that is asked is that parents supply transportation and housing for their athlete when attending competitions.

We have been quite successful as a Club. We have State Champions, State record holders, and many Youth and Junior National Championship participants. Our athletes range from 10 years old to 21 years old.

Our club will be traveling out of state for some competitions. March 3-6 we will be going to Columbus OH for University Nationals. Even though we are not a University, we can qualify athletes as "unattached". Then we will be going to Vegas for the Youth, Junior, U25, and Senior National championships.

We need your help to make these adventures affordable to the athletes. The Norsemen appreciate your monetary assistance. We aim to make this wonderful sport available to all. Please help by donating to our travel expenses. Thank you!!!
