Help Support Sam Viken's Battle With Cancer
Donation protected
As some of you may know, Sam’s normally upbeat and fun demeanor has recently been dampened by chronic pain. After a hospital stay, numerous test and procedures, she was shockingly diagnosed with Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer. The cancer is widespread, unfortunately involving her liver and bones. Her diagnosis is incurable, but thankfully treatable. Sam has started targeted treatment. While she’ll always live with this cancer, she is hopeful for a long and happy future with her 7 year old son, Noah. She’s going into this next phase of her journey with her enthusiastic and positive attitude we all know her for. However, for now and the foreseeable future, she will be unable to work while her treatment is aggressive. As a single mother, this will be strenuous, exhausting, and financially stressful.
Sam grew up in Evansville, Wi, and then went on to graduate from UW Whitewater. She is currently a successful salesperson at Kesslers Diamonds, and most importantly, an amazing mother to her son. We’ve put together this GoFundMe page in an attempt to supplement Sam and Noah as they continue this journey to health. If you are able to donate, it is greatly appreciated and does not go unnoticed. If not, we genuinely appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers for Sam, Noah and the family.
Please be mindful of what is said to Noah, as the family is still learning the best way to approach the subject. Thank you for your discretion as the family is still trying to navigate their emotions.
Thank you,
Sam’s loving friends and family
