Sneha's Care urgently needs funds to support animals injured in the recent devestational floods and landslide on the Nepal-Tibet border.

You have likely seen the videos of the traumatic, unexpected floods that wiped out villages in an instant. Sneha's Care, Voice of Animal Nepal, and Nepal Welfare and Research Center have arrived with 3 animal ambulances with emergency relief materials.

One of Sneha's Care's former veterinarians, who lives in the affected area, told us that the situation is very serious. Many teams are working tirelessly to rescue and support people, which is extremely important. Sadly, very few people are thinking about the animals who are also injured, frightened, hungry, and waiting for help.

Sneha’s Care, Voice of Animal Nepal, and Nepal Welfare and Research Center have travelled in three animal ambulances to bring medicines, food, emergency supplies, and other relief materials for the affected animals.

We cannot remain silent while animals are suffering. Human lives and animal lives both matter during a disaster. Please keep the affected families, animals, and our rescue teams in your thoughts.

About this Fundraiser

This fundraiser, and other Sneha's Care GoFundMe fundraisers, are managed by Jessika Ava, MS, MPA, Advisory Board member and long-term supporter of Sneha's Care. Jessika Ava is the CEO of Thrive Philanthropy, a grantmaking organization that supports food justice and animal care organization worldwide. Since Sneha's Care does not operate a USA 501c3 nonprofit, funds will be directed by GoFundMe to Jessika Ava in USA who will then forward directly to Sneha's Care's bank account in Nepal. Sneha's Care is a formerly registered animal shelter and rescue center in Lalitpur, Kathmandu, Nepal.

100% of funding goes to support Sneha's Care animals rescue or items needed for the animals' care (vet care, shelter, food, etc.). If funding is raised beyond the amount needed for flood relief, any extra funding will go toward other emergency animal rescues and care.
