Sneha's Care is rescuing animals stranded in the Nepal flood & landslides!

Catastrophic floods and landslides hit Sneha's Care & Nepal on 27th and 28th Sept. The condition is extremely devastating. Due to landslides, the highways has been blocked nationwide, parts of the city is submerged in water.

Thousands of animals have been displaced from their homes-animals living on the streets, pets left behind, dogs, cats, farmed animals left behind, more. There is no one to rescue these animals in need but Sneha's Care & animal orgs are stepping up to get these animals to safety. Aiding affected animals in need has been overshadowed since rescuing humans has been the major priority. We completely understand their concern as well.

Sneha's Care has been working tirelessly to get as many of the stranded animals to safety as possible! These animals are stuck in the swamp and mud leftover from the landslides, making them difficult to rescue. Despite all the risk, our team is finding a way to rescue the stranded animals. Some of the animals were swept away during the floods and have been injured and need vet care & we're providing treatment too.

Sneha's Care shelter has also been badly hit by the landslide leading to severe damage in the shelter infrastructure and has ruined the basic necessities of shelter animals - the food and medical supply has been severely damaged or ruined.

. Since Sneha's Care does not operate a USA 501c3 nonprofit, funds will be directed by GoFundMe to Jessika Ava in USA who will then forward to Sneha's Care's bank account in Nepal. Sneha's Care is a formerly registered animal shelter and rescue center in Lalitpur, Kathmandu, Nepal.

All funding goes to support Sneha's Care animals rescue or items needed for the animals' care (vet care, shelter, food, etc.). If funding is raised beyond the amount needed for flood relief, any extra funding will go toward other emergency animal rescues and care.
