In early August my brother, A'Shawny Sneed, got in a life threatening car accident. With the many injuries he substaned, it resulted in him being paralyzed from the shoulders down. He spent a month in Butterworth Hospital and another month in Mary Freebed. In the time he's been home, we've realized that getting transportation for him has been less than easy. Just to get him back and forth, it requires many days of advance notice just to make sure he has a ride (as his appointments are in Grand Rapids). We knew this system was going to be flawed. More than once now, he had a one day notice of an appointment, resulting in my mother and sister to call around trying to find him a ride. Not having the correct transportation or any at all has been making his treatment much harder.
So with this money, we will be buying a vehicle that we can transport A'Shawny back and forth. This will give our entire family some piece of mind, knowing that he can see his doctor without all the hassle.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, my family has been struggling since this incident. We really do appreciate everyone who can help. This would mean the world to our family if we're able to just make sure A'Shawny well and taken care of.
