Family Recovering From House Fire
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Egan Fritts. I have lived in Marquette since 2018 when I was attending Northern Michigan University. In 2021 my family and I moved into what would be our home for next 2 and a half years. During this time we have made so many memories, made friends, celebrated milestones, and grew together.
On Saturday November 18th we lost all of that due to a house fire that began while nobody was home. We lost years of collections, fond memories, gifts to each-other, and gifts from others to us. Nothing can ever replace the memories that we lost. However we are hoping to be able to create new memories going forward.
Our beloved pets have also been deeply affected. As we work to rebuild, we're also focusing on their recovery. Your support will not only help us rebuild our lives but also provide the care our pets need during this challenging time
We have received so much love and support from friends, family, and our community. This support has been an incredible launching point and allowed us to stabilize and make sure we are able to plan for the future. The funds raised from this will be used to help secure a new permanent residence as well as begin to replace things such as furniture and larger items that we will need once we are able to find a new place to call our home.
If you would rather donate specific items or smaller donations (due to GoFundMe fees), please reach out directly as those would be greatly appreciated and will help immensely.
Thank you all for your support and kindness. My family and I are looking towards the future with our heads held high and taking it one day at a time.
