Support for Father battling stage 3 cancer

Donation protected
New story:  My dad has stage 3 tonsil cancer.  He has been out of work for about a month already and will be out of work for at least a few more months.  Last month, we lost his wife (my mother) to stage 4 metastatic lung cancer.  It has been a hard road but we’re getting by.

My dad is almost to the finish line with chemo and radiation but has needed daily hydration therapy as chemo and radiation has been destroying his kidneys.

I am asking for support and help to donate what you can to get him through these next few months so that he can focus on beating this cancer and recovery.  His job provides next to nothing for disability so anything is appreciated.

Previous story:  For those that don’t know, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in September of 2024. Recently, it has metastasized to the brain, liver, and abdomen. She has a very aggressive mutation called the KRAS mutation along with another mutation as well. She previously had 33 treatments of radiation, 6 rounds of chemo, abdominal tumor resection, brain tumor resection, and an aneurysm repair. She has restarted radiation to the brain as well as restarting chemo and immunotherapy.

As of this week my dad was also diagnosed with cancer. We found a lump in his neck, and he is currently going through various testing. We are currently waiting the biopsy results but they are saying it’s possibly early stage 2.

As their only daughter and a registered nurse, I am my mom’s health care proxy and helping them both with appointments, transportation, and paperwork. I am currently out on PFL.

I figured I would start this go fund me to help with co-pays, transportation, and other various bills while my parents are both fighting cancer. Any amount of donation helps.

Thank you so much and please reach out with any questions/concerns.

Costs will be used for co pays that are $30 every visit, $100 each hospital visit, for gas costs as mom is going to Good Samaritan/west islip and dad is going to stony brook, food so that they can focus on their health and I can help focus on their health as well, and other various costs. Thank you again to everyone who has donated so far and who will donate. No amount is too little and no gesture is too small.
