Hi, I’m Joe.
I’m a British actor and writer based in New York, and this summer my new play Snazzy has been accepted into the New York Theatre Festival.
The play tells the true story of my parents and the early years that led to the creation of Snazaroo in the 1980s. It’s a story about creativity, risk, partnership, and building something from nothing — and it’s deeply personal to me.
While the festival isn’t charging a participation fee, producing the show still comes with real costs: rehearsal space in NYC, stipends for our actors, director, stage manager, and crew, and basic production needs.
I’m raising $5,000 to help cover those costs and ensure that the artists involved are paid for their time and work.
Any support — whether financial or simply sharing this page — genuinely helps bring this story to life.
Thank you for being part of it.
