Dickie Needs Our Help!

Our friend Dickie has fallen on hard times and needs our help. For those of you who don’t know him, or haven’t had the pleasure of working with him, Dickie is a talented artist, a dedicated friend, and a pioneer in the field of visual effects. His work can be found in productions ranging from Star Trek: Enterprise to Titanic.
Since losing his beloved wife Lynette, Dickie has been suffering from severe depression and has neglected both his physical and mental health. As of right now he has no work, no savings, and a number of severe medical issues related to diabetes that need to be dealt with immediately. To make matters worse he’s being evicted in a number of weeks.
Having seen how bad his situation is, a group of friends have banded together to help. We’ll be helping Dickie apply for disability and social security, finding him medical care, and helping him relocate to more affordable housing. But these things will take time, and this is more of a financial commitment than we can handle on our own. In the coming weeks there will be a need for money to cover security deposits, moving expenses, groceries, and doctor’s visits to deal with untreated medical issues. We are also hoping for additional funds to help cover overdue utility bills, help with living expenses, and make payments on his back taxes.
With so much needed to be done in such a short time, any amount you can give would be of great help.
