Many of you have heard about the devastation that has occurred with our dear friends Abby & Colton Coates and the total loss of their restaurant, Snappers. I have contemplated many times today of what we can do to help and several of you have already reached out and asked the same thing.
Snappers Bar & Grill in Matagorda, TX caught fire in the early morning hours of April 30th and is a total loss. After speaking with the owners, and the cost of building supplies on the rise as well as insurance falling short, they will simply not have the funds to rebuild. They would never reach out and ask for help, which is why I took the role because these are people who give back to the town of Matagorda as well as our small town in Giddings. They would love to have the opportunity to rebuild and continue to serve the great town that they have made their home. Any and all help is so very much appreciated. Let's give back to the ones who are always there for us.
