Snap-Its Robotics National Championship

Hi, our names are Trevor & Alynn Jones and we are the coaches for the La Grande Adventist Christian school robotics team, Snap-Its. We are part of the First Lego League and have been working on teamwork, coding skills, robot design, and our innovation project of underground power lines.

Teams in the First Lego League Challenge Competition design, build, and program a Lego robot to score points by completing a variety of missions in a two-and-a-half-minute game. These students spent countless hours after school working on their programming and design skills, learning to code, and developing an innovation project that is related to this year's theme of energy.

Our team placed 1st at the regional competition and is now raising money to go to Apopka, Florida for Nationals. This is an amazing opportunity for these students to be able to travel to another state, work on their public speaking, and coding skills. We've looked into expenses, and it's going to cost a lot to make this trip happen. Your financial investment in the team will help pay for the travel, housing, food, and supplies necessary to participate in this invaluable experience. Thank you for your generous contributions!
